Ghaziabad Police have filed an FIR against Mohammed Zubair of Alt-News for religious violence after Yati Narsinghanand. An aide of the pastor filed a complaint about his work on social media.

Following the complaint, an FIR was filed against Alt-News co-founder Mohammed Zubair regarding his social media posts. Zubair allegedly shared Narsinghanand’s old video and incited sectarian violence. Zubair allegedly posted Narsinghanand’s old video on October 3 and alleged that it was an incitement to violence against him by Muslims. 

He has faced several FIRs and attacks from Muslim groups for his remarks against Prophet Mohammed (who criticizes his religion or religious belief), 356(3). The incident happened on Friday evening when a large number of people gathered at the Dasna Devi Temple in Ghaziabad, led by Narsinghanand, left after a video of him outside the temple was shared on social media, objecting to his remarks. As security has been tightened in the area.

 Police said 10 people were arrested for throwing stones during the protests, PTI reported. It is legal to send petitions to those "opposing" the temple, but Mishra said the police were not aware of this anywhere. Members of the Hindu group also protested outside the police commissioner's office outside the Harsan police station, demanding an attack on Zubair, AIMIM's Asaduddin Owaisi, Islamic scholar Arshad Madani and others, claiming that they were inciting Muslims to attack the Dasna temple.
